We use our own Hunter's HomeGrown organic kumquats to make this yummy treat. Kumquats are a variety of orange, only mini in size. They are about the size of a large grape. Think of them as an orange...only in reverse! The flesh of a kumquat is tart, but the rind is edible and quite sweet! It's fairly labor intensive to make this marmalade, as the kumquats must be washed, cut in half, and the seeds removed, all by hand. But it's worth the incredible flavor in the end.
